At this stage of life, I didn't expect to be "too young" for much of anything anymore — Shoppers Drug Mart Seniors' Day, maybe, depending on which location you ask — but not this.

What does it mean to grow older in a culture that places so much value on youth? What happens to our sense of identity as our bodies change, our roles change, and the future gets a little shorter than the past?
